好友向我倾诉办签证的尴尬：


　　堂堂一位中国的优秀人物，却被反复索要什么财产证明/房产证/健康保险/单位营业执照/等等等等，要去的欧洲某国似乎生怕咱们撒谎成性，成为滞留不归人员，或是在他们那里生病出事成为他们的负担什么的。一通繁琐的申请程序让本来还挺憧憬的旅行还没开始就变得窝囊便扭让人生气。干脆，不去了。


　　这点我也有体会，也有过因为觉得程序本身过于复杂而放弃旅行的经历。办个签证，本来就是个提供服务的事儿，不应该是个什么事儿，却被弄得很复杂，很是个事儿。


　　一些外国使馆的签证条例确实有欠妥的地方。有些签证官很亲近可爱/但也有些很粗鲁无礼。这点上他们肯定是有提高改进的余地和空间的，通过各种渠道我们责无旁贷的要去表达这样的意愿，不过，我也听说过一些外国朋友甚至是拿着外国护照的中国人在国外办中国签证的时候遭到不尊重待遇的，尽管数量相比要少得多。


　　但换个角度想，其实办这些外国签证原本没有这么难，但是从过去到现在，咱们的同胞中的确有太多挖空心思/随便撒谎/不顾一切/坑蒙拐骗/也要出国的人，把那些国家的签证官们给蒙怕了，不得已采用排除法，先假定所有申请签证的中国人都有不良动机/移民倾向，再用各种有时甚至接近侵犯隐私的证据和证明来慢慢排除。


　　所以，不能都怪他们，我们自己也确实有问题，尤其是在材料的真实性方面，国人说谎的比例确实比较高，而且潜意识里并不把说谎当成是什么大不了的事。就像中国某著名的所谓英语学习机构多年来连GRE/TOEFL的试题都可以偷出来，还有什么不可以，给学生们的心理暗示又是什么。


　　我自己这些年办签证大都还比较顺利，公事公办实话实说，签证官也大都友好，或至少是按规则办事的。特别是美国签证，其实还是相对简单和有效率的，签证官也大多数还是不错的。唯一的不愉快，却是曾被自己的同胞给结结实实的恶心了一把。


　　几年前，美国驻华大使馆签证处大厅里。人很多，几位在北京被招聘来的身着美国大使馆保安制服的中国人在来回走动。我签证已经办完，拿着护照准备走，看到一位中国保安正冲着一对偏远地区来的/要去美国看孩子的父母/用非常恶劣的态度厉声训斥，说老人们说话的声音太大。没错，秩序是要维持的，但不是用这种方法，尤其是在美国使馆里对自己的同胞/还是老人这样说话。我于是上前阻止，善意的说了这位保安几句，告诉他要尊重老人，尊重自己人。


　　没想到这位中国保安勃然大怒，觉得我挑战了他美利坚合众国大使馆保安的赫赫权威，冲过来用他并不被赋予的权力把我的护照从我手中拿走，然后强行要把我轰出去。他说：“你给我出去，这里是美国领土”。我告诉他：我知道这里被理解成是美国领土。但他没有这个权力，美国使馆的规则我非常清楚，美国大使本人也是我的朋友。但他依然咆哮，威胁我说：“如果你不出去，我就不让其他的中国人进来办签证”。我们在门口僵持着，看着被拦在门外的因为我的缘故不让进来的中国人，我选择暂时让步，走了出去，临走前，我对那一群美利坚合众国大使馆的中国保安们说：我在门口等你们解决问题，否则一切后果由你们承担。你们真不应该这样，你们是中国人吗？


　　而让我哭笑不得的是：其中的另一位北京本地招来的年轻保安竟然狐假虎威的大言不惭道：“我们都是美国公民，你赶快给我们从美国领土上出去！”


　　是年幼无知，还是别的什么？听到这样的话在这样的时刻从自己同胞的嘴里说出来，心痛。


　　我在门口站了许久。保安的领班走了出来，也许是感觉到我不是那么好欺负，也许还真认识个什么人的，开始跟我诚恳地谈条件，给我两个选择：要么走正常投诉程序／路漫漫系其修远，不知道何时才能取回护照，我会因此无法按时赴美。要么，他替我取回护照，叫出那个保安，说两句好话一笔勾销，我向他保证不去通过其它渠道找他们算账。


　　我着急走，答应了他的条件，拿走了护照。


　　后来听说不少朋友在美国大使馆都有过类似的被自己的同胞们欺负经历。始终觉得故事没有结束。只不过忙起来，也就渐渐淡忘了。


　　几个月后，在耶鲁校园里又见到了耶鲁毕业的我们的老朋友——美国驻华大使雷德，这位历史上任期最长的美国大使依旧和蔼可亲。我们聊了不少话题。一番激烈的思想斗争以后，想到那许多许多去办签证而遭到轻蔑的中国的父母们和学生们，我单方面撕毁了和那位保安领班达成的协议，把这个故事讲给了雷德大使听，并告诉他：我们也不希望这些不尊重自己和他人的中国人，破坏了我们对美国的印象。大使认真的表了态。


　　又过了几个月，回到北京，接到雷德大使和夫人的邀请去大使官邸吃饭，当我拿着请柬经过官邸安检的时候，一位中国保安走过来对我说：上次和您过不去的那位保安已经被开了。我看了看他，似曾相识，也许也是当时那一群保安中的一位，眼睛里带着一丝歉意。


　　我笑了笑，点了点头，走了进去。


　　再后来，又去过美国大使馆的签证处，看到了不少新面孔的保安，也听到了他们用“您”来称呼前来办签证的人们，态度好了许多。我依然站在人群中排队，依然在观察着他们...


　　如果你也是一名这样的保安或是在外国使馆工作的中国人，我想对你说：你们工作的辛苦繁琐我理解，但这不能成为你们不尊重别人和自己的借口。做一位优秀的保安，做一位让中国人为你们骄傲的外国使馆的中国雇员吧。
